This study aims to analyze the impact of the tourism sector on the social, economic, cultural, and environmental life of the community in Badung Regency, Bali. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study collected data through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis related to the tourism sector. The results showed that tourism makes a significant contribution to the regional economy, with this sector contributing more than 65% of the Regional Original Income (PAD), as well as creating jobs and developing micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). However, dependence on this sector also poses risks when an external crisis occurs such as a pandemic. Socially, tourism changes people's lifestyles, reduces community solidarity, and affects traditional values. Cultural impacts include increased commercialization of traditions, while environmental impacts are seen in pressure on infrastructure and waste management. This study suggests the importance of economic diversification and sustainable tourism management to reduce dependence on the tourism sector and maintain cultural and environmental preservation.
