Abstract

This paper discusses the importance of human resource diversity in Indonesia as a determinant of optimal performance in organizations. By examining various cultures, traditions, and local values ​​in the archipelago, this study highlights how diversity can be utilized to create innovation and improve work effectiveness. An inclusive approach to human resource management, which values ​​differences and facilitates cross-cultural collaboration, is identified as a key strategy for achieving organizational goals in the era of globalization. In addition, this paper explores the challenges faced in managing diversity, including potential conflicts and gaps in cross-cultural communication. Through case analysis and interviews with HR practitioners, this study provides practical recommendations for organizations in optimizing diversity as a strategic resource. By understanding these dynamics, it is hoped that organizations can achieve competitive advantage in an increasingly complex market.
