Aggressive behavior in elementary school children is a significant issue in child development, both as perpetrators and victims. This study aims to explore the relationship between parenting styles and aggressive behavior in children through literature analysis. Authoritarian and permissive parenting styles were found to contribute to increased aggressive behavior, while democratic or authoritative parenting styles supported good emotion regulation and decreased levels of aggression. Moderating factors such as gender, age, emotional intelligence, empathy, and social environment also influenced the relationship. This study highlights the importance of positive parenting styles in creating optimal emotional and social development in children. These findings provide recommendations for family-based interventions that focus on improving parenting quality and emotion management.
