About the Journal

Nusantara Social Science (NSS) is an open-access, peer-reviewed international journal dedicated to the dissemination of cutting-edge research and knowledge in the field of social sciences. The journal serves as a platform for publishing innovative studies that explore various dimensions of society, human behavior, and social structures, with a focus on both global and local contexts.

All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous editorial process, including evaluation by at least two international reviewers through a double-blind peer review system. This ensures the quality, integrity, and relevance of the articles published.

First published in 2024, NSS is issued six times a year, in February, May, July, September, November, and December. The journal's scope covers a wide range of topics within the social sciences, including but not limited to sociology, anthropology, psychology, political science, economics, education, and cultural studies, exploration of social change, identity, globalization, social justice, inequality, public policy, and human rights. Additionally, the journal highlights interdisciplinary approaches that combine insights from various social science fields to address complex societal issues such as migration, urbanization, gender, health, and the environment.

NSS aims to foster a deeper understanding of social phenomena and contribute to the development of policies and practices that support human well-being, social cohesion, and sustainable development.
