The journal serves as a platform for publishing innovative research that explores various dimensions of social life, human behavior, and societal structures, with an emphasis on local, regional, and global contexts.
All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous editorial process, including evaluation by at least two international reviewers through a double-blind peer review system. This ensures the quality, integrity, and relevance of the articles published.
First published in 2024, KISNU is issued six times a year, in January, March, May, July, October, and December. The journal's scope covers a wide range of topics within the social sciences, including but not limited to sociology, anthropology, social psychology, political science, economics, education, and cultural and historical studies, social change, social inequality, globalization, cultural identity, migration, human rights, and social policy. The journal also emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches, combining insights from various social science fields to understand complex social phenomena such as gender roles, urbanization, public health, social conflicts, and the impact of technology and social media on society.
KISNU aims to enhance understanding of global social phenomena and contribute to the development of policies and practices that support social welfare, justice, and sustainable development. The journal seeks to bridge the gap between theory and practice, encouraging studies that provide valuable insights for both academic knowledge and practical applications in everyday social life.
