About the Journal

Nusantara Public Policy and Governance (NPPG) is an open-access, peer-reviewed international journal dedicated to advancing scholarly and practical knowledge in the fields of public policy and governance. The journal serves as a platform for disseminating innovative research, critical policy analysis, and empirical studies that address challenges in governance and policymaking across various contexts, with a special emphasis on the Nusantara region and its global relevance.

All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous editorial process, including evaluation by at least two international reviewers through a double-blind peer review system. This ensures the quality, integrity, and relevance of the articles published.

First published in 2024, NPPG is issued six times a year, in January, February, April, June, August, and October. The journal focuses on topics such as public administration, policy innovation, governance reforms, decentralization, participatory governance, digital governance, environmental policies, public finance, social justice, and regional development policies, strategic issues in public policy formulation, strengthening state institutions, technology-based governance, public sector policy analysis, and social and economic policies supporting sustainable development, transparent and accountable governance, public health and education policies, as well as the role of civil society in governance processes.

The journal also embraces interdisciplinary approaches, comparative studies, and case-based analyses to foster intellectual discussions that bridge the gap between research, policy, and practice. NPPG aims to contribute to shaping effective governance frameworks and public policies that support equitable, sustainable, and inclusive development.
